I have been building web and digital projects for over twenty years as a designer, with a special focus on frontend. I now work as a developer at Volcanic Internet as part of the WordPress team.
Being in a developer position for the first time has given me a whole new perspective on my career goals that may be interesting for other newcomers or people that want to become developers.
I can focus almost entirely on WordPress, which is a great opportunity to learn about full site editing, and get more involved with the community. Locally, I have attended events organised by WordPress Barcelona and WordPress Terrassa.
I also volunteer at Gais Positius, an LGBT+ non-profit focused on health doing peer counselling, and I advocate for diversity in the tech industry.
